Built for 78-88 GM G-Body applications, this Not Thru Dash (NTD) 10-point pre-fitted roll cage is mock-fit in-house before shipping for easier installation and a cleaner final fit without requiring dashboard removal. Each kit includes marked mating surfaces, alignment indicators, and detailed reference photos specific to your cage.
Available in DOM Mild Steel or 4130 Chromoly Steel.

78-88 G-Body “Pre-Fitted” NTD 10pt. Roll Cage
Designed for 78-88 GM G-Body applications, this pre-fitted 10-point roll cage is built and mock-fit in-house before shipping. Mating bar surfaces are marked, alignment indicators are added, and detailed digital reference photos are provided to help simplify installation.
This cage is our “Not Thru Dash” (NTD) G-Body cage design. Designed for customers looking for a simpler and faster installation, the NTD configuration eliminates the need to remove or modify the factory dashboard during installation. This makes it an excellent option for street cars, budget-conscious builds, or anyone wanting a cleaner install process with less interior disassembly.
If you do not mind removing the dashboard and making additional clearance behind the dash, be sure to check out our Thru-Dash G-Body cage kits for a tighter, more tucked installation appearance.
This cage is test-fit in a mock-up chassis prior to shipping, with all mating surfaces clearly marked and alignment indicators added so everything lines up exactly where it should. Detailed digital reference photos of your exact cage are also included, highlighting key mounting points and measurements.

Sill bars are not required by NHRA due to the full perimeter frame construction of GM G-Body vehicles. Dash bars are also not required to meet NHRA 8.50 certification unless more than 1 square foot of the firewall or transmission tunnel has been removed and patched.

NHRA Notes
This 10pt cage is NHRA legal to 8.50 quarter-mile times when properly installed.
NOTE: A 10pt cage includes (not shown here) 2 short “kicker” (NHRA D) bars that attach to your frame connectors behind the front seats and require final fitting. A rear X is also included with all 10pt cage kits.
