68-79 GM X-Body “Exact Fit” 12pt. Roll Cage

Designed for 68-79 3rd & 4th Gen GM X-Body applications, this Exact Fit 12-point roll cage is expertly bent, cut, and pre-notched in-house before shipping for a cleaner installation and precise final fit.

This cage is ready to install when you receive it, with all bars pre-notched and carefully fit for consistent alignment and professional results.

NHRA Notes

This 12pt cage is NHRA legal to 8.50 quarter-mile times when properly installed.

NOTE: A 12pt cage includes (not shown here) 2 short “kicker” (NHRA D) bars that attach to your frame connectors behind the front seats. Bars that extend into the engine compartment as well as a rear X are also included in all 12pt cage kits. The cage can be ordered with straight back bars if you are deleting your rear seat. Optional dash bars are available but are not required in most cases to meet NHRA 8.50 certification.

Approximate shipping from $250 East Coast to $300 West Coast (lower 48).

Material Options

AVAILABLE IN: 1 3/4″ OD x .120 wall High Grade DOM Mild Steel – or – 1 3/4″ x .083 wall 4130 Chromoly Steel tubing

NOTE: 4130 Chromoly must be TIG welded.
