79-93 FOX Body Mini Tub Kit

Designed for 1979-1993 Ford Mustang and Fox Body applications, the Wild Rides Mini Tub Kit provides additional rear wheel well clearance for wider tire and wheel combinations while maintaining strength and durability in the rear chassis.

Unlike thinner aftermarket mini tubs, Wild Rides tubs are constructed from .045″ steel sheet for easier welding and installation. This heavier construction also helps restore important chassis structure removed when cutting out the factory wheel wells, while providing greater resistance to dents and damage from road debris.

Available in both Unwelded and Prewelded configurations, these mini tubs allow you to choose the option that best suits your fabrication experience and installation preferences.

Each kit includes frame rail capping materials and cutting templates to help simplify the installation process and provide a cleaner, more consistent finished result.

Choose between unwelded mini tubs for customers who prefer to complete the fabrication themselves or prewelded mini tubs for a more convenient installation. Both options are constructed from durable .045″ steel sheet and include frame rail capping materials and cutting templates.

Installation Notes

Installation requires cutting and modifying the factory rear inner wheel wells, followed by fitting and welding the replacement mini tubs into place. Included cutting templates and frame rail capping materials help streamline the fabrication process.

NOTE: Welding and fabrication are required for installation. Final tire clearance will depend on your wheel and tire combination, rear suspension configuration, and any additional chassis modifications.
