As the saying goes; it’s only as stong as its weakest link. Unfortunately, you can fill a Ford 8.8 rear end housing with all the best parts available and there are some strong 8.8 guts available, but your still using a housing that was designed to support a 225hp motor and it is less then structurally sound.
Prevent rear end housing flex & bending with our brace kit. This is a complete rear housing brace kit and comes with a Lower & Forward facing supports to prevent bending on all planes. Don’t abuse it before you brace it.
The forward bracing of this kit may have clearance issues with a full (out the back) exhaust system. If it looks like your exhaust may have a problem, see our listing for the “Lower Brace Only”.
Kit comes with everything needed to install the kit including all hardware.

Our brace kits do what others don’t, we address two planes of deflection. A rear end housing not only bends forward it bends upward when under acceleration loads, if you only address the forward load its still going to bend upward and vice versa. Brace it on two planes and you effectively reinforce it in all directions as our kit does.
